Abortion with misoprostol pills is a safe alternative when mifepristone is not available. You will need a minimum of 12 pills. You will insert 4 misoprostol pills vaginally, sublingually, or buccally for 30 minutes. Repeat the 4 pill dose every 3 hours—for a total of 3 times.
