I offer one-on-one paid sessions designed for those seeking after-abortion support and integration.
If you’re looking for free abortion support or counseling at any stage of the process, please note that ROUGE DOULAS offers those services at no cost.
If you’ve ended a pregnancy and still feel something unresolved — grief, guilt, confusion, regret, or a quiet ache for meaning and understanding — this space is for you.
You don’t need to “get over it.”
You deserve the time and support to understand what happened — emotionally, spiritually, and within your body.
One-on-one counseling sessions created to support those navigating:
Regret or emotional aftershocks following abortion
Unresolved grief, guilt, or shame
Shifts in relationships, identity, or sense of self
Cycles of avoidance, numbness, or recurring dreams
A desire to integrate the experience into deeper meaning and purpose
This work is emotionally, spiritually, and ontologically grounded in trauma-informed care, feminist psychology, and narrative integration.
Each session offers a private, confidential space to explore what your abortion may have opened, unsettled, or brought to light.
We move slowly and collaboratively, using conversation, somatic awareness, and reflective practices to help you:
Process the layers of emotion that surface after abortion
Rebuild trust in your own decision and timing
Reconnect with your body’s inner power and clarity
Move from stories of shame toward integration and peace
Sessions are 60 minutes and held via secure video or encrypted audio call.
All sessions are fully confidential.
Lynsey has spent over fifteen years walking beside people through the threshold of abortion — as a companion in the sacred terrain between life, death, and choice.
Her work bridges feminist abortion care, trauma-informed counseling, and somatic healing. Trained in multiple somatic and body-based modalities, Lynsey helps clients locate their experience not just in the mind, but in the living intelligence of the body.
Her own self-managed abortion became a profound initiation — an experience that reshaped her understanding of creation, autonomy, and spiritual agency. That experience continues to anchor her work: abortion not as shame or failure, but as an embodied passage of transformation and self-knowledge.
Over the last decade and a half, she has supported thousands of people across continents through digital abortion access networks, community counseling, and feminist care models. Her approach is deeply trauma-informed, client-led, and grounded in practices of safety, consent, and nervous system regulation.
Lynsey’s spiritual and somatic path has led her through studies with lineages and teachers around the world — from womb-based healing traditions and ancestral ceremonies to meditative, tantric, and earth-based practices that honor the body as sacred source.
Through Self-Guided Abortion, she weaves these threads — evidence-based abortion care, feminist spirituality, and the somatic wisdom of the body — into a practice that helps people find meaning, healing, and integrity after abortion.
Her work is for those who know that abortion can be both medical and mystical — a moment that invites us not just to end, but to begin again.
Self-Guided Abortion is founded on the belief that abortion is an initiation — not a failure, not a trauma to erase, but a powerful, embodied decision that deserves time, attention, and integration. Our bodies remember. Our stories matter. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting — it means making meaning again.
This is deep, multi-session work held within an agreed-upon container of trust, confidentiality, and mutual commitment. Because each person’s process unfolds uniquely, we will decide together what length and rhythm best serve your integration — whether three sessions, a season of work, or a longer-term journey.
The exchange for this work is USD 120 per hour.
A sliding scale is available for those with limited financial access or living in low-income contexts.
Energy, attention, and care flow both ways — your investment sustains the integrity of this work and honors the time, training, and energetic labor it requires.
